The Author Team

John McGuinness is a History and Politics and Society teacher in Temple Carrig Secondary School, Greystones. He has worked as both an examiner and an advising examiner for Leaving Certificate Politics and Society, and lectures on UCD's Professional Master of Education programme.

Alison Cosgrave has been teaching Politics and Society in Oatlands College since its introduction in 2016. She has worked as an examiner for Leaving Certificate Higher Level Politics and Society, and also teaches History and CSPE.

Both authors are active members of the Five Nations Network.
